About Jill Walton, Therapeutic Counsellor Regd MBACP (Grief & Loss Specialist)

Hello,my name’s Jill. Thanks for dropping by.

Do take some time choosing your counsellor. I know it’s an important decision for you.

So why choose me?

Do you need help to:

* Learn how to ask for what you need

* Learn how to say no and be okay with this

* Feel less anxious, sad or depressed

* Find some balance in life

* Learn to let go of anger,guilt and shame

* Stop self-harming behaviour

* Learn more effective, healthy, coping strategies

* Gain a fresh perspective

We all deserve to enjoy and get the most out of life. Be the best version of ourselves that we can be. If you want this too, we may be a good fit.

People tell me I’m very down to earth and easy to talk to. I’ll enjoy welcoming you so you feel comfortable enough to trust me with your most difficult feelings. I’ll ask questions designed to help me really get to know you. Isn’t it lovely when we feel understood? Why would you talk to me if you don’t like/trust me? Our relationship will be key to your successful therapy.

I’m passionate about my job – You matter to me. I hate to think of anyone struggling if I have the skills to help them feel better.

MY SPECIALIST INTEREST: is working with Grief and Loss. This doesn’t just cover bereavement because of a death. It also encompasses those sometimes very difficult periods of change,transition and transformation such as moving or leaving school, “empty nest,” divorce, illness, change of job, redundancy,moving home or retirement.

I won’t pretend it will be easy,but counselling can be an amazing journey of exploration,self-discovery and of course healing. I will be with you all the way.

If you like what you have read and think I could help you, do contact me (Telephone,Email or Text) as I’d love to hear from you.

What happens next?  IMPORTANT **  During Coronavirus restrictions I will be supporting clients by  Telephone or Video link until it is safe for us to meet for face to face sessions ** Your safety is my priority.

Come and meet me at my lovely relaxing therapy room. It will give us the chance to decide whether we want to work together. I’ll ask you some background information and we will discuss and agree how I may help you. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I want you to feel absolutely sure that I am the right counsellor for you.

You’re in safe hands – I’m fully qualified,experienced,insured and BACP registered

Counselling could be your gift to yourself – help you to live a more balanced and fulfilling life. You are worth it.
