About Fiona Mullany MBACP (Accred) – Fairhaven Counselling

If you have found you need someone to talk to about your problems, I will provide a safe confidential and caring therapeutic relationship in which you will feel emotionally supported while you explore whatever issues you want to bring to our sessions. Whether they are current issues you feel you need to manage or issues from the past that you are struggling to let go of, I will give you a safe place to explore and find solutions that work for you.

I offer person-centred/humanistic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, brief solution-focused therapy and personal development coaching. I also offer clinical and reflective supervision for clients working in caring and leadership roles.

You may have been told you would benefit from CBT for a specific problem such as anxiety, or you may not know what you want, but feel you need to get things out of your head and talk things through with someone who isn’t “involved” or affected by the issue that’s affecting you. Please click on my website above for more information and don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

As a fully qualified BACP registered counsellor I have a background in person-centred counselling, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). I work with people in both short term and long term counselling relationships and also provide services for Employee Assistance Programmes.

I work from home in a comfortable dedicated counselling room in Lytham St Annes, and can also do local home visits for clients who may find it hard to get out with flexible weekday appointments between 8.30 and 3.30pm. I offer an initial free of charge 30 minute consultation to enable you to find out whether I am the right counsellor for you, and if you decide to go ahead, further sessions will last an hour each. We will have regular reviews so that you can ensure you are getting what you need out of the counselling process.

I have worked in personal development and counselling roles for over 15 years in voluntary organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureaux and women’s aid organisations.

I work with adults and young adults covering many issues including:

Depression
Disability and caring issues (inc. Dementia, Stroke, etc)
