Nicky Deacon, Dip Couns (MBACP), DHP AccHyp -Registered counsellor.

Welcome. Because it’s very important for you to feel comfortable and safe with the counsellor you choose, I’d like to invite you to an initial half-hour assessment session, free of charge, so that you can meet me and determine if I’m the counsellor for you. During this first visit, we’ll go over what brought you to consider counselling, what you’d like the results to be and, what the counselling process will be like.

If you decide you’d like to work with me, sessions will be tailored to your specific needs and, although mainly talk therapy, may include such gentle yet powerful and proven techniques as art therapy and mindfulness. Each session will help you work through your feelings in a safe and comfortable environment that enables you to fully explore and develop the solutions that are right for you.

I also offer hypnotherapy to assist with smoking cessation, weight-loss management, anxiety and confidence. It is also useful to help with pain management and combat insomnia.

I will not only help you explore solutions to your problems, but support you in the process of change to a happier you. My experience includes working with relationship problems and divorce, to conditions such as depression, bereavement, anxiety and low self-esteem.

Each session lasts an hour and costs £30 for an individual, with concessions
available. Hypnosis for smoking cessation, phobia or other goal is a separate tariff. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
