Highly specialised to work with relationship dynamics from family of origin to issues around intimacy, conflict, separation and loss and sometimes the unresolved underpinning small t and big T traumas.
I have an Integrative approach which means loosely that I have many skills I can draw on to help rather than a one shoe fits all style and we work together to help identify ( that's if you don't really know what the problem is) what needs to change and how you are going to get there. I work transtheoretically which uses psychodynamic ( relationships with self and others), CBT ( behaviours) and Jungian ( Individuation where we aspire to live our best lives according to our own beliefs and values and find courage to make the changes).
I work with somatuc illness such as fibromyalgia, migraine, IBS using somatic experiencing techniques and have been training with Dr Peter Levine gaining further expertise

This approach I feel works well with all aspects of the human condition and in my time there is very little I have not been able to work with in partnership with my clients.
I have worked with Attachment Theory since 1997 with families through play and progressing to see how attachment - or impaired or absent attachment - affects us into adulthood manifesting in our relationships and where we in turn seek comfort and self soothing through behaviours we out grow and or start causing us problems.
Sometimes we just outgrow our lives and want to create new joy and meaning.
I initially trained in-house at the renowned treatment facility Promis recovery centre specialising in all aspects of addictive and compulsive and problematic behaviours such as substances - recreation and prescription medication, alcohol, eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and compulsive over eating, sex addiction, porn, gambling, codependency, gaming, workaholism and dominant and submissive relationships.
