Welcome to Whole Circle, a creative approach to mental health and well-being. I specialise in individual counselling for children and young people. I also make hand made therapeutic resources for teachers, parents and therapists to support and engage children.
An accomplished counsellor with proven experience supporting children in educational settings. With the whole child in the centre of my approach, I am committed to their best outcomes and mental health and well-being. My approach is person-centred, integrative and creative. I use therapies that best suit the child and their needs. I am registered as a Senior Member of ACCPH and work with children and young people. I also offer a range of therapeutic resources for supporting your child at home, school and in therapy.
With an extensive experience of working with children, I have the skills and knowledge to support your child through difficulties such as grief, trauma, anxiety and school refusal. With your child at the centre, I use a wide variety of approaches including play, music and art therapies.
Creative activities help to make a safe place for children to experience and express their emotions.They act as a conduit in which children can create pathways through their feelings. It is a way to connect their mind and their body. By using creative activities, it enables them to express their emotions in an indirect way, where they are not in the spotlight, sat uncomfortably in a chair, or maintaining eye contact.
