About Pam Tibbles Counselling
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Totton, Southampton SO40, serving the New Forest, Southampton and the surrounding area.
Welcome to my website.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Pam Tibbles. My aim as a counsellor and therapist is to help you to feel happier and settled in your life and relationships.
I naturally listen with empathy and compassion, I will support and respect your values and views, listen intently to really hear how it is for you in a professional, safe nonjudgemental and confidential environment.
I am an experienced BACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist in Totton, Southampton SO40, where I have been offering therapy and counselling for over 15 years to individuals.
I understand that when we are feeling anger, grief, depression, confusion or anxiety it can be hard to turn to our family and friends. Coming for therapy and being able to talk honestly to someone outside of your life can be very helpful and gives you the opportunity to release those feelings and express your thoughts.
To go to counselling and seek therapy it’s not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. I have had the privilege to witness how therapy has changed lives, and highlight that therapy and counselling research shows that the most important factor in gaining results is in the relationship between therapist and client. Therapy works due to the confidence and trust generated in the counselling relationship.
I offer a professional, safe, non judgemental and confidential environment so that we can explore and effect the changes you desire.
I currently offer a free 30 minute initial consultation to discuss what is troubling you with no obligation to commit to further counselling sessions.

What will you achieve from coming to counselling and receiving therapy? Counselling is a talking therapy.
It will give you the opportunity to talk about life events past and present.

Help you to increase your self awareness and develop a better understanding of yourself and of other peoples point of view.
Help you to come to understand and conquer your anxieties.
Help you deal with and overcome issues that are causing you to feel uncomfortable.
Help you to cope with a relationship breakdown such as marriage, friendships, family or with work colleagues.

We can look at issues that prevent you from achieving your dreams or ambitions or even come to a place of acceptance and understanding of your situation in life and what choices you do have.
Help you to identify your strengths and resources and gain a greater insight of yourself, your relationships and life.
Help you to see things from a different perspective, to feel empowered and be able to clarify things and make positive choices.
Help you to decide if you want to make changes in your life or not.
To do some self exploration and personal development and maybe to explore what is working or not for you in your life.
