I have over 20 years professional experience and many years of personal experience that helps me, help others, to transform their lives. I work intuitively and creatively with whatever my client brings to the session. I utilise a number of healing modalities, combining both eastern and western philosophies, including counselling, coaching and EFT or Tapping as it's more commonly called.
I initially worked in Consulting Engineering as a Draughtswoman before moving into Complementary Therapies and then training in Counselling. I have a background in community and in-patient mental health as a support worker and have provided counselling within GP surgeries.
One of my strengths is that I am able to bring about a feeling of comfort and safety with my clients within a short space of time. My skills are best suited to those suffering with stress, depression and anxiety, sensitives (HSP’s Empaths etc) and those who prefer a more holistic and natural way of working.
EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as ‘EFT Tapping’ or simply as ‘Tapping’. The therapeutic effects of this technique are recognised around the world. We use EFT tapping for anxiety, weight loss issues, pain, stress and many other issues.
EFT Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back.
EFT ties in nicely with counselling and coaching and allows us to quickly, easily and painlessly move on from those negative emotions that hold us back.
