Counselling offers you an opportunity to explore aspects of your personal life and to challenge emotional difficulties that you may feel unable to share with friends or family. Working in partnership with your counsellor will enable you to pursue significant life enhancing change and to rectify unhelpful patterns of living. Understanding, empathy and care can often help you to access inner resources to cope with the demands and challenges of life.

I offer both short and open-ended counselling to suit the individual needs of each client, using an approach which integrates psychodynamic therapy, (how past experiences affect present behaviour, thinking and feelings) with relational, attachment and cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT). Evening appointments are available.

Exploring and reflecting on present difficulties and emotional pain in a private environment that is neither threatening nor controlling can free you up to take back control over your own life and choices.
