Life is an ever evolving journey. Everyone experiences ups and also downs from time to time as we travel along. Occasionally we might find ourselves struggling, or even stuck, and unable to move forward in the way that we wish to. Talking to friends or family may be difficult for you for various reasons. At times like these, it can be helpful to talk to a trained professional who is unbiased and uninvolved.
MY APPROACH TO COUNSELLING:
I'm a trained, fully qualified Humanistic Counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I'm also a warm, personable, friendly and non judgemental human being. I draw on a range of humanistic counselling approaches, working integratively according to your needs, requirements and goals. I can help work through your concerns, talking through them in a safe, accepting environment. You won’t be judged, simply heard and supported.
I can help you to get an understanding of underlying issues that may be causing unhealthy patterns in your behaviours or your thinking, creating barriers to your wellbeing. Working alongside you as you tell your story, I can help you understand yourself better in order to access the answers you require in order to move forward to your future. Often these answers are already within you. My role is to help facilitate your empowerment.
