About Sarah Speedy, Registered Counsellor MBACP

My current mantra in life is ‘just begin’, and well you too have begun!
But what is it you are seeking? Do you even know? Or do you feel there is just something missing? Something perhaps stopping you from moving forward or limiting your personal growth? Or do you have ongoing mental health concerns?

In a life that has become increasingly pressured by social media platforms which often portray a very edited and beautified version of life, it can sometimes feel like we are missing something that others appear to have in abundance and this can often leave us feeling dissatisfied or discontent.

It can also be said that modern day life pressure’s amplify any underlying mental health issues, and affect our personal wellbeing. As a person-centred counsellor I offer you a safe place to help you find your inner voice and dialogue and take steps to understand what your personal blockages and barriers are to whatever in life it is you are seeking.

Over the years I have worked in both time-limited therapies (7 sessions) and unlimited sessions and have yet to experience a client who has not benefitted from counselling. Although often we come to therapy when life has become too overwhelming or issues can no longer be managed, I believe that counselling is also beneficial as part of the maintenance of self, similarly to exercise; only its our thoughts and emotions we exercise!

Whatever it is that is troubling you, please take the next step and get in touch. I offer a free 30 minute session as I feel passionately that you need to feel comfortable with any therapist you choose to get the best possible outcome for you.
