I am a professional qualified Person Centred counsellor, offering a friendly, safe and supportive environment to help people discuss their problems and concerns.
My personal philosophy is that we are all complex individuals with our own needs, but sometimes these needs get distorted as we try to fit in and be accepted by others, or we simply become lost in the “busyness†of our lives. Sometimes we experience problems, trauma or losses that are too much to cope with alone. I believe that given the right conditions and support we have the potential not only to survive these but to learn and flourish as human beings. I also believe people have the right to explore who they truly are, and I offer a space to do this safely and without judgement.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which means I work to high ethical standards, and also carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I also receive regular supervision so you can rest assured that I am an ethical practitioner. I undertake regular therapy myself and other self development work to ensure the quality of my self awareness and knowledge.
Fees are as follows:
Counselling: £40 Denton, £45 Manchester City Centre.
