Dynamic Therapy, Psychological Therapy & Counselling Service

I am registered as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professionals’ Council (HCPC). I hold an honours’ degree in Psychology, (Royal Holloway, University of London, Surrey) and a professional postgraduate doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (Canterbury Christ Church University, Salomons, Kent). In addition, I have post-qualification certificates in Supervision & Training, CBT for Psychosis, CBT for Trauma in Psychosis, Attachment & Neuroscience and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with Personality Disorders.

With over 15 years’ experience of working in the NHS, I have delivered direct psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Couple Therapy and Group Therapy. I am qualified to work with children and adolescents as well as adults, and deliver psychological support to teams and organisations in the NHS through Teaching, Training & Supervision. I have a proactive way of working and engaging with clients who find therapy difficult. I also have specialist experience of working with BME groups and supporting other clinicians/organisations who are involved in providing therapeutic services to minority groups.
