About COUNSELLING AND HYPNOTHERAPY

My name is Linda Nonweiler.   I am fully qualified and details of my qualifications can be found on my website. I offer flexible face to face and Zoom appointments (daytime and evening). Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is very effective for anxiety panic attacks, depression, low self esteem etc.

I am a BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists) Accredited Counsellor and also a Hypnotherapist. I am a very experienced integrative counsellor/therapist with over 15 years experience of counselling clients. Details of my qualifications can be verified on the BACP website. I adhere by the BACP’s Code of Ethics. I offer a sensitive and professional Counselling Service in Wisbech, March and surrounding areas.

HYPNOTHERAPY
In addition, I am trained in Hypnotherapy which is extremely helpful for numerous issues, including, depression, anxiety, smoking cessation, IBS, weight loss, anxiety, panic attacks, confidence etc.

I provide a completely confidential, sensitive, caring and reliable relationship where you will be supported during difficult times. Clients can self-refer and a GP referral is not necessary. I work with clients from the age of 15 years upwards.

Sometimes it is difficult to confide in relatives and friends, as they may be too close to you personally or involved with your situation. You may not want to worry them with your feeling. By having therapy, this enables you express your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental and confidential environment.

I have a background of working within the NHS for 12 years and went on to train as a Counsellor in 2001, initially working in a Counselling Agency in South Woodford and Chingford East London for four years. Working in Primary Care I saw clients referred directly by their GP for a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, low self esteem, panic disorder etc. I now work with private clients as well as with NHS staff and offer short or long-term therapy.

If you are unsure whether counselling would be beneficial for you, I would be very happy to discuss in confidence, and without obligation, any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment. The first session is a time for you to decide whether you feel you would be happy working with me. Further details of my fees can be found on the FAQs page of my website.

I also work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and help clients find coping strategies for their issues and help them to identify faulty thinking processes, which often contribute to their problems. CBT helps clients gain an understanding of how their thoughts, affect their feelings and in turn how these affect behaviour. By breaking the pattern of unhelpful thinking. Along with other techniques, using this therapy can mean that clients can experience lifelong results and relief from anxiety, panic attacks and other issues. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
