John has extensive experience in short term work and offers a focused approach to assist you in concentrating on your key issues. After an initial assessment, this enables you to experience change in your life earlier than would be the case with open-ended long-term work, and makes therapy much more affordable. As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, John incorporates whatever theoretical approaches might assist you in your work.

Personal background

Apart from his qualification in psychotherapy, John holds an academic doctorate and a bachelor of science honours degree. John is also a Trustee and Director of the West London Centre for Counselling, where he works as a volunteer counsellor. He has more than 25 years’ experience in human relations and understanding the psychological problems that beset each of us. John developed this understanding both through his work as a small group facilitator for the Bridge Pastoral Foundation, where he also has been a Trustee and Director for 10 years; and as a senior manager in business life. From this background he brings a wealth of life experience and wisdom to his work.
