About Bella Tebbs – Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Why Counselling?
Throughout our lives there can be times when we feel overwhelmed and wonder how we got to this place. Finding someone to talk to about these issues can be a positive step in making change happen and taking control of your life. I can provide a safe and confidential space, separate from your daily life, where you can explore the issues and feelings that are causing difficulties in your life.

Most often, clients want my help with problems that are causing stress and anxiety. These can often be acute and ongoing generalised anxiety, bereavements, relationship issues, anger and frustration, panicky feelings as well as numerous other emotional effects. Often clients will look at events that have occurred in their past in an attempt to understand how they can be effecting their present life or impacting on their current situation.

How I Work
As an integrative therapist, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches in order to help people who come to me for emotional support. My years of experience as a therapist has taught me that no one approach suits everyone as each client is unique and individual.

My overall aim is to provide you with a warm, supportive, non-judgmental, conversational-style environment where you can unfurl and connect with your deeper feelings, making sense of them and working through them whilst not being alone.

In addition to my private practice, I have worked as a counsellor with at the West London Centre for Counselling in Hammersmith, South London seeing clients for short-term therapy dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, illness, career crisis and relationship issues.

£60 per session for individual counselling.

Each session will last approximately 50 minutes.

I offer both short and long term therapy.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and consequently I am bound to it’s ethical framework for good practice.

I am also CRB checked.
