Psychotherapist/Counsellor

I work from my therapy room in Heybridge where I can offer my clients a private, safe and secure place in which to work through issues in a confidential environment. I am integratively trained which means I work in a Person-centred and Psychodynamic fashion. I also use other methods of therapy, including transaction analysis, creative art work, sandtray therapy, guided imagery and meditation. All skills to help my client unlock the questions around problems that they may bring to therapy.

I work with adolescents, adults and couples. I also run small groups called me4Me which deals with the problems people have with their body image. Weight loss is dealt with holistically, dealing with the relationship with food and where that relationship comes from, in order to help my clients feel better and more positive about themselves.

I help with adoption issues, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, body image issues, couple counselling and supervision for qualified counsellors, student counsellors and supervision in the professional work place.
