My name is Claire Young and I am a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and an EMDR Therapist. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2008 as a registered mental health nurse within the NHS. I currently continue to practice within the NHS as a psychological therapist in addition to my private practice. I have experience of working with adults, children and adolescents and military veterans.

I offer individual CBT and/or EMDR sessions on a weekly basis lasting for 50-60 minutes (sessions can be longer if required, these can be negotiated in advance). The number of sessions required is dependent upon various factors, this will be discussed with you during the initial assessment appointment. The average number of sessions normally ranges between 8 and 20. I offer a FREE telephone consultation prior to assessment.
