As a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist I can work with you to reach your goals. CBT has been shown to be effective for a wide range of problems: Depression, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, OCD, Grief, Trauma, Addictions (including behavioural addictions), long-term Weight Problems, Sleep Problems, Low Self-Esteem, Seasonal Affective Disorder, among others.
Other compatible therapies can be used too when appropriate, for example I use Compassion Focussed Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy.
Within the safe space of an accepting, non-judgemental, therapeutic relationship, you are valued just for being you, and respected as the expert in your life.
If you have any reservations or questions about therapy in general or CBT in particular please contact me to discuss them.
I am a member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), and I am on their Register which is Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. I am bound by their Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Secure Video Sessions can be particularly suitable for people who might otherwise find it difficult to attend sessions at a venue, for example, due to mobility issues, childcare considerations or work schedules.
An initial session of 30 minutes is free of charge - to allow you to see if you would feel comfortable working with me, and to allow us both to assess if CBT and the compatible therapies would be appropriate for you.
