I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, experienced in working with a wide range of difficulties in a variety of settings.
This has included work in a prison setting, women's refuge, healthcare, young person's charity, schools and colleges as well as private practice.
I have been awarded Accredited Status by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am a BACP Registered Counsellor.
I offer you a space to talk and to be heard by someone trained to listen and help you find your way through whatever is troubling you. I can offer you impartial support that is confidential.
Based in Dorchester, I offer weekly 1:1 counselling sessions for adults, usually lasting 50 mins.
I also offer sessions for children and young people, having trained for a Post-Qualifying Diploma in Counselling Children & Adolescents. I also offer counselling sessions in some local schools.
I can offer short-term or longer term counselling.
If you are wondering if counselling is right for you, it may be worth calling to find out more or to arrange an initial consultation to explore this before committing to further sessions. I am happy to meet for an exploratory session to help you decide if counselling may be helpful for you at this time, and to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
If you are a student or on a low income, please ask about availability of reduced fee sessions.
