Description:

Perhaps you've been coping alone and would like to talk to someone who is removed from your family and social life?

Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, confused or stuck in a pattern of repeated situations or just wish to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional world, with someone trained to support you?

I am a fully qualified and UKCP registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I offer a empathic, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental space to allow you to explore, express and gain understanding of the feelings and thoughts that are causing you unhappiness.

Often the current difficulties we are experiencing in our lives have developed as a result of our early history and past experiences. We often find ourselves repeating old familiar patterns perhaps hoping for a different outcome.

These patterns have been created from a need to protect ourselves and survive often painful and difficult experiences and feelings. Perhaps one particular event has overwhelmed and we find we can no longer cope. Or perhaps we have been coping alone for too long.

A therapeutic relationship offers a place to gain understanding about the difficulties we are having in our life, so that we can make changes and move forward.
I am based in Christchurch, Dorset not far from Bournemouth, Lymington and The New Forest.   I also work in Winchester city centre.
I offer psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also a member of the following Transactional Analysis professional organisations: IARTA, EATA and ITAA.

I hold an enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
