About Sue Reevy Counselling
I have worked as a counsellor for over 6 years, predominantly within the NHS’s Depression and Anxiety Service in Exeter, Devon. As such, I have a lot of experience working with not only depression and anxiety, but also all the life events, triggers and issues that lead to depression and anxiety.
Prior to this I worked as a volunteer for The Intercom Trust where I saw clients solely from the LGBT community and Cruse Bereavement Care where I completed specialist advanced training in Bereavement Counselling.
My paid employment history has been within acute mental health services and more recently, the Homeless Outreach Team. Through this work I have become well equipped in working with people with a variety of mental health diagnoses and worked extensively with those who have experienced difficult upbringings, trauma(s), those with addictions and those who lack self-esteem and a sense of self-worth.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I therefore abide by the BACP’s ethical guidelines. I am fully insured.
Whatever your motivation for coming to counselling may be, counselling can help. I am a firm believer in the resilience of people and the ability we all have to change ourselves and our lives.
