I offer a very private, comfortable and relaxed space, where you can have a regular time and safe place to talk through your challenges and learn new coping strategies, which can enable you to work through the feelings that are troubling you. From my own experience, this can really help to deal with specific problems, cope with a crisis or bereavement, improve your relationships, reduce confusion, or develop better ways of living.
My role is to listen, support and help you understand your feelings and behaviour better and, if necessary, help you to improve your way of thinking and your ability to cope with whatever difficulties you are facing.
Working from my home (a farmhouse in Templepatrick) you will be made very welcome, and will be encouraged through a respectful and non judgemental environment to talk openly in a way that cannot always be possible with family and friends. This can be very therapeutic when you are feeling low and can really help you to start taking control of your feelings and begin to move towards a happier and more contented life.
Sessions last approx. one hour, during which time you will have my full and focused attention - something which can be very difficult to get in every day life!
If necessary, home visits are also an option, and can be discussed on request.
