About Bridge Counselling Glasgow

You may be feeling anxious, depressed, having relationship issues or you may be confused as to how you are feeling, tired of pretending everything is ok and want to feel better. You may have tried talking to friends or family and feel it hasn’t helped. At times like these seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist can help you unburden yourself in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space.

Everyone can gain a lot from discovering more about themselves through counselling and psychotherapy. Having the chance to explore your patterns of feelings, behaviours, and those experiences and memories which have impacted on you and your relationships can be transforming.

People often seek out counselling and psychotherapy when they are experiencing emotional distress or have a specific issue they would like to address. Therapy during a crisis can help ease your symptoms and enable you to get back to living the life you want. Each person is an individual, your experience of counselling will be unique to you.

As a person-centered therapist I will strive to be deeply understanding, accepting and genuine. My aim is to provide a safe environment in which I will listen carefully to you and offer you unconditional support, value your experience and I will use this as the basis of all our work.

Establishing a warm, mutually respectful working relationship allows us to explore together what brought you to therapy and anything else which should arise during our time together, accepting you wherever you may be. This gives the potential for a healing experience that will increase awareness and understanding, while at the same time empowering you to make healthy choices.

I am passionate about my profession and have found my vocation in life within my counselling work.

How do I get started

  • Phone or email me.
  • We can arrange an initial FREE 15-minute telephone consultation – where we can have a brief chat of what is bringing you to counselling and any questions you may have.
  • Alternatively we can arrange your first session at full cost. In the first session you will have the chance to talk about what has brought you to counselling/support in more depth. It will also give you the chance to decide whether I am the counsellor for you and if so arrange ongoing sessions.

Where will I go for my sessions?
