Dr Bronwen Rees has been practising as a psychotherapist and counsellor for over 12 years. She practises core process psychotherapy which is the first mindfulness-based therapy in Europe, and is the external examiner for their courses. She is also programme lead and tutor at Matrix Integrative Counselling course.
She specialises in trauma, gender, relationship and life choices. Her work is aimed at uncovering the blocks to relationship of any type - which may come from the outside world, or from inner conflict. In particular, she helps clients understand where life choices are holding them back, and helps them align with often hidden gifts. She has a wide range of clients, including many international ones through the medium of skype.
Formerly she was Director of Centre for Transformational Practice at Anglia Ruskin University, where she lead research teams developing methods to help people manage themselves at work, particularly through the use of mindfulness. She also founded the East West Sanctuary in Hungary leading retreats and workshops on a variety of different areas. She has published widely and internationally.
