Counselling and Hypnotherapy

I am a dedicated, responsible and resourceful counsellor of wide experience, having worked from a variety of perspectives and theoretical disciplines for more than 35 years. I am also a qualified counselling Supervisor.

You will be made welcome to my counselling practice in Earith. Clients usually come for an initial session, after which we review how to move forward. Each counselling session lasts a full hour and there are no rules about the things you can talk about. I have considerable experience working with survivors of child sex abuse and those with low self-esteem or who are suffering from stress. I have also enjoyed working with LGBT clients. I have never turned a client away or had a complaint.

In my work I sometimes combine person-centred counselling with ‘light’ hypnotherapy to help you connect with your feelings and (in a safe environment) your fears. With your permission and where appropriate I may take you deeper into hypnotherapy to help you realize the outcomes you want. Using the method that suits you best, I then work with you towards a realistic and healthy future. I never undertake hypnotherapy without first working with you to determine your needs and ensuring that what you want is safe and healthy for you.
