Life can be difficult at times and the idea of talking to a counsellor about one's issues can be intimidating however having a safe and confidential space to reflect on your fears and worries with the assistance of a counsellor who can engage with your feelings and emotions can help you move forward in life.
My approach to therapy is psychodynamic since I think psychodynamic therapy brings deeper change to the structure of personality. The process is about developing your understanding of yourself at a deeper level, it is especially effective if your issues are long standing and deep rooted. It facilitates emotional growth to move away from destructive patterns which might be hindering you from experiencing yourself as a whole by exploring the parts of your personality that may be invisible to you.
I also offer brief, solution focused therapy and combine this with CBT techniques. CBT is a more appropriate approach to therapy if your issues have arisen from a more recent event.
