I am a qualified integrative counsellor, which means I use different counselling approaches. As individuals, we think, feel and react in different ways and working as an integrative counsellor allows me to work in a way that is flexible and tailor the therapy to you and your needs. I have worked successfully with individuals who have experienced stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, bereavement as well as individuals who have suffered from drug and alcohol addiction.
I am also a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
I hold the following Qualifications:
CPCAB Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling
CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Theory
CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Skills
BSc (Hons) Psychology Degree
I have also undertaken additional training in:
Drug and Alcohol Addictions Training
Alcoholics Anonymous Training
I offer a free initial 30 minute session to give you the opportunity to explore if counselling is right for you. I will also provide you with information on what you can expect from me. If you discover that counselling is not for you, then we can discuss other support which may be more appropriate.
Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and are Â£35 per session.
