About Counselling & Mindfulness Hazlemere High Wycombe Bucks

Counselling

Life at times is challenging: difficult relationships, life crisis, changes, … or at times
for no reasons you don’t feel quite right.
And this is normal. However, when the experience of challenge becomes a regular pattern of sufferance affecting your self-esteem, making you disconnected from others and from yourself, feeling strong emotions and difficult moods you may need some help to restore your well-being and to develop some clarity and understanding.
And to receive help is very normal too as often this is necessary for us to evolve and develop some compassion for ourselves.

How does it work?

If what you read makes sense to you, you may consider to talk to me on the phone & we could identify your needs & how I could help you.

If after our conversation (confidential) you feel that I can’t help, you won’t have any obligation.
If we think that my work will be beneficial we will arrange a session.
You may need a short or long number of sessions. This will be discussed on our first meeting.

As I am also a mindfulness instructor we may include some mindfulness strategies in our work if helpful.

I successfully work with these issues:
Life crisis, death, depression, anxiety, strong emotions, stress, womanhood, health and disease, relationships, self-esteem, spirituality, abuse and I am confident to work with other issues.
However, if I feel I cannot help I will tell you, and we may discuss other options.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment, using techniques like meditation, breathing and exercises. It helps us to become more aware of our thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by then, we are better able to manage them.

Practicing mindfulness can give people more insight into their emotions, boost their attention and concentration and improve relationships. It is proven to help with stress, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviours, and can even have a positive effect on physical problems like hypertension, heart disease and chronic pain.

Anyone can learn mindfulness. It’s simple, you can practice it anywhere, and the result can be life changing.

Coltivating a Mindful attitude can help you to:

Be in control of your thoughts

Reduce stress and anxiety

Expand awareness

Improve concentration

Improve your mental & emotional well-being

Improve your sleep

Restore balance, control and peace of mind

Relax more easily and gain more enjoyment in life
