Clinical Psychologist/Psychotherapist/Mindfulness Teacher
Dr Cheryl Rezek has extensive experience in the field of mental health, treatment development and training. She has a long-established academic and clinical career, having worked in the NHS, private and independent sectors providing services to the public and organisations. She is the author of two books.
Consultation, therapy and bespoke programmes and interventions are offered for a wide range of life issues including stress-related situations, mental health concerns, distress, chronic pain and/or management of health-related issues, distress, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, abuse and many others. Mindfulness work is also provided, in groups and individually.
Mindfulness is gaining tremendous support in the health, workplace and medical fields. It is recommended in the NICE guidelines as it develops resilience and resourcefulness.
Workplace training on mindfulness can be undertaken as it assists with sickness absenteeism and with leadership skills.
