I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from The Metanoia Institute (University of Middlesex) where I also studied for four years on the post-graduate Counselling Psychology Doctoral programme. The Metanoia Institute is widely recognised as being one of the most rigorous training routes in the UK. Since qualifying I have undertaken further training in the fields of mindfulness, CBT, animal-assisted therapy and addiction counselling.
I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have worked as a counsellor in an NHS hospital ward for mentally ill patients, a local government counselling charity and a university counselling service.
In addition to my counselling practice, I work within the public sector supporting the work of schools and teachers in Buckinghamshire drawing upon my former career as a primary school teacher. At the moment within my private practice I am able to offer sessions in Beaconsfield.
