Hi, my name is Liz. Thank you for looking at my profile.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and part of the perinatal counselling team at Hemel Hempstead Hospital. My experience and specialism is in perinatal health, bereavement, anxiety and adolescents.

I am a mum myself and I decided to use my experience of pregnancy, birth, family life, teaching and adolescents to start a private practice in counselling.

Taking the first step to navigate the world of counselling can be really difficult and perhaps overwhelming. Maybe it has been on your mind for a while. Whatever the circumstance, I want to support you in that you are making a positive choice for yourself.

My counselling sessions offer you a safe space to explore what is going on for you.  I listen carefully, with congruence, empathy and respect.  I try to fully understand you and your feelings and what’s going on for you.

I practise integrative counselling, which means I bring together different elements of various therapies. I believe that there is no single approach in a counselling session so I will tailor each session to your individual needs.
