Finding the right counsellor for you is important and it can be overwhelming to take the first steps.  My aim is to make the first steps into counseling as reassuring as possible.  I am warm and supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental.  We will create a space together where you will be heard and listened to in a way that is different to other relationships.  Sometimes having someone to speak with who is not family or friends or work related can offer a new and unique space and time to speak freely and in confidence.

coming to an initial counseling session is a good opportunity where we can meet and for you to meet me and see if you feel comfortable speaking with me.  An initial session usually last approximately 30mins and from here you can decide engage in counseling with me or not, the choice is yours.

I have many years of experience in counseling and have worked with many different people who are each unique in what they want to explore and bring to counseling and I believe that the therapeutic relationship between you and I is a fundamental element of successful counseling.  I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you.
