My Approach

I work with both adults and young people from 16 years onward, either short term work for support through a difficult period, time limited work to explore a particular issue, or longer term work to explore in more depth or historical issues.

I work with an integrative approach, meaning that I can draw on a number of modalities to find a way of working which suits you. This may be talking through what you are finding difficult at the moment, and if appropriate using sand tray, clay or other materials to facilitate exploration. Counselling sessions will last for 50 minutes at the same time on the same day each week.

I understand that it may have been difficult to take the first step toward seeking counselling, however, it will lead to a better understanding of how you find yourself where you are in your life, and how it may become more fulfilling. I see my role, as your therapist, to facilitate your journey as I believe everyone has the ability to find the answers they seek and what they need inside themselves.
