Finding Me – Counselling and Coaching

I offer a space where clients can safely explore their sense of self, without judgement or criticism of any kind. My clients develop a greater sense of awareness whilst healing and developing the courage to be the person they want to be in the world.

As well as having real life experience in a successful corporate career for many years, I have trained in several modalities of counselling but lean towards Gestalt and Existential as a primary philosophy underpinning my work. What does this mean to you? Well both these forms subscribe to the idea that what may appear \’wrong\’ in our lives is not unique or by chance but part of a recurring way of being in the world which, once safe and needed, may no longer be required even if it has become a fixed way of being. There are no tricks or techniques to change this as some methodologies will offer, but simply a growing awareness which results in glacial but foundational shifts in our patterns along with a courage to explore other possibilities too. Much emerges from this and many clients report a life changing transformation, without being able to pinpoint why or what exactly made that occur.
