Welcome, my name’s David and I’m a person-centred counsellor providing a safe, accepting and empathic relationship for you to explore whatever’s troubling you.

I have helped people suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, low self esteem, grief and more.

As well as being a counsellor, I enjoy writing spoken word poetry. Where appropriate I try to bring this creativity to my counselling work, through the use of metaphor and imagery to help you explore your world.

I have a particular interest in how social and environmental issues such as climate change can affect our mental health, and in providing a space for people to voice these concerns and find a way forward.

A strong relationship between counsellor and client is the most important factor in helping bringing about change, and so I offer a discounted first session to allow you to decide if I’m the right counsellor for you.

I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I abide by it’s code of ethics and good practice.
