Addictions and eating problems
I have been a psychotherapist and counsellor now for a number of years and have worked with both individuals and couples. I, and my clients, feel that my skills have allowed me to work well in both cases. I have also worked with young adolescents.
For long-term psychotherapy the model I use is an integrative approach, which will include a substantial component of dream analysis, and for shorter-term counselling either cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) or solution focused brief therapy. I find that these approaches tend to best meet the needs of individual clients in our hectic, modern world.
