Life can sometimes throw unexpected situations at us and can affect our mental health. Which can make day to day activities rather hard on us. Counselling can be a time for yourself to be able to explore what is going on for you. Helping to lift the heaviness of what you are going through. Together with myself, I facilitate your sessions with a warm welcoming manner. Exploring your thoughts and your feelings in a safe confidential space.
I work with clients in different ways that suit individual needs. I offer warmth as well as being empathic whilst gently challenging your intrusive thoughts allowing space to explore.
I feel that every single person deserves a space and time dedicated to themselves. Allowing themselves to express themselves in whichever way that feels they are able to.

I offer 60 minute sessions for £45.

David was my counsellor for several years. He helped me with ptsd from domestic abuse. As a man that was abused by a woman it can be difficult to find someone who is completely nonjudgmental, but David is. He is incredibly warm and empathetic. He always gave me time and space to talk, to ramble through my thoughts and emotions, and to cry, without ever interrupting. That sounds like a small thing but it’s incredibly important. Quite often other counsellors or mental health professionals do interrupt, and it can make counselling difficult rather than helpful. I would highly recommend David as a counsellor to anyone who is struggling with or feeling damaged by life.
