I have significant experience working within the field of addiction within the NHS both in the community and private residential rehabilitation units. I also work with individuals whom have returned from rehabilitation units to find that they have underlying mental health conditions such as anxiety,depression, OCD and PTSD. Although this list is not exhaustive. I believe that therapy supports an individual to explore emotional difficulties and in turn supports recovery itself.
I have a working knowledge of both NA and AA twelve step traditions and CBT therapy that is favoured by some residential centres and substance misuse agencies. I am Integratively trained which means i work using skills and techniques to accommodate each individual.
Subject to preference I also offer a walk and talk service (weather permitting)
