Shanaz Essafi, BACP Accredited Supervisor & Psychotherapist

I have a specialist interest in trauma, and work with adults and young people aged 11 and above. I am experienced in working to reduce anxiety and depression and in building self- confidence and well-being. I trained at the University of Manchester (BSc Hons Psychology and Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling). I’m research active in the area of trauma. I’m a qualified clinical supervisor of counsellors both 1:1 and group,  and have experience delivering supervision to education staff. I also work part-time as a director of a mental health charity and a mental health lead in a high school.
