I am an experienced, person-centred counsellor working in West Norfolk and Cambridgeshire for the past 15 years.
Perhaps life or relationships feel tougher than usual, or you’re sensing you’ve somehow got ‘stuck’. If you are feeling down, stressed, overwhelmed, or are struggling to cope with problems that seem hopeless, it can help to talk things through in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment. It’s often so very difficult to truly know or trust ourselves and to ’see the wood for the trees’. I believe that talking about what’s going on and being listened to, accepted, appreciated and supported, can help us find a good route forward that fits comfortably and allows us to be true to ourselves. Past or present experiences of depression, abuse, bad relationships, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress… all these are issues that may have dragged you down, but that can be worked on and overcome. I am trained in integrative counselling, based on a Person-Centred approach, which means I will always be led by you. Rather than imposing my advice or solutions on you, we will explore what feels right and good for you personally. ’Integrative’ means bringing together various therapeutic approaches which offer a pallet of different and useful methods, so that together we can choose ways that work for you.
