Biography
I am a fully qualified’ Integrative Psychotherapist’ who has worked with the three mainstream core theories of ’Humanistic’,’ Psychodynamic’ and’ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy’.
However, I feel my own way of working is with the ’Person Centered approach (part of the Humanistic theory). My work is essentially providing the opportunity for an individual to explore any troubling thoughts and feelings in a confidential, empathic, genuine and non judgemental environment.
I’m here to listen, support and enable an individual to search for their own answers and solutions with their personal issues; thus promoting personal growth and touching upon their own creativity and inner potential in a way that feels ultimately right for them.
My past counselling experience involves working with the Chrysalis Drugs Project, Young Persons Counselling and Advice, The Family Care Counselling Service and working on a private basis.
I am also a BACP registered counsellor which has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority For Health and Social Care. Cert Number: 048997
