If you are looking for a counsellor you may feel overwhelmed by the different approaches, theories and styles and find it difficult to know where to start. One of the most important things is that you find someone you feel comfortable with and someone you feel able to build a positive relationship with.

Counselling is a talking therapy that gives you the opportunity to explore your difficulties in a safe, non judgemental environment and help you to find a path to positive change.

Hypnotherapy takes a more practical approach to changing habits and behaviour and is extremely effective for a variety of issues including smoking, weight control, phobias and anxiety.

I have a variety of experience with different client groups so whatever it is that you need help and support with get in touch and we can discuss whether counselling or hypnotherapy could benefit you.

I am a registered member of the BACP and have a Diploma in Therapeutic counselling and a Diploma in Clinical hypnotherapy. I work with each client as an individual and tailor my therapy to suit you, using a variety of techniques.

I have additional training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), safeguarding, working with children and young people, couples counselling and anger management.

If you are looking for a counsellor for your child please be assured that I have vast experience in this area from organisations such as the NSPCC, Place2Be and The Children’s Society where I work with NHS IAPT referrals for children and parents.
I have a particular interest in working with and supporting young people and their families to improve their relationships.

My therapy room is at the bottom of my garden and was purpose built to offer comfort and privacy. I am located just a few miles from Leeds city centre and there are buses from the city to just outside my house, there is also street parking available.

Telephone consultation is free so that we can have the opportunity to meet and decide if we can work well together.
Typical sessions cost £40 for individual sessions and 60 for couples sessions.
Please note: some hypnotherapy programmes such as smoking and weight control are individually priced so please contact me for more details..
I can offer reduced rates for students and people on a low income.
