Why not take the first step and give me a call? Our initial counselling appointment is always FREE and I would love to help you. I will offer you a really safe and confidential space to talk and, by listening, I will support you as you discover solutions to your problems . Some things don’t have a solution, such as the death of someone you love very much. In these cases, I can help you come to terms with things which cannot be altered so that you can see clear through the pain to the rest of your life.

Our initial consultation will give us an opportunity to discuss your needs and if you do decide to carry on, we will arrange a regular time to meet up each week. Each session will be quality time for you to talk through your problems in a non-judgmental setting that will be uniquely tailored to you.

I have an MSc in Health Psychology, a BSc in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, with additional training certificates in Trauma and CBT.

I am passionate about the benefits of counselling and love my job as a Counsellor in a local NHS hospital. I have worked for many years at the Samaritans and have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including affairs & betrayals, anxiety, bereavement, bullying, couple counselling, depression, divorce, family issues, infertility, miscarriage, pain, relationship difficulties, road traffic accidents, sexuality, shame/guilt, stress, trauma and work issues, including workplace trauma.

I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). I am also a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My work is fully insured. I hold a current CRB certificate.

Our initial half hour appointment is always FREE. Thereafter, fees are as follows:-

£40 per hour for individual therapy
£50 per hour for couples counselling
