"I offer you a safe, non-judgemental, confidential and supportive yet also gently challenging therapeutic space to help you tackle difficult areas of your life.
I am an integrative counsellor with a person-centred approach towards working with you - believing YOU to have the inner resources to make the changes you need and want in your life or behaviour. However, I also know how you may need encouragement and support to believe this and to make these longlasting changes in your life or behaviour.
So I see myself as a facilitator of your change, working alongside you, being curious with you about yourself, and helping you to ask and answer the questions to get to the heart of what may be causing any difficulties for you in your life at this time.
Clients tell me I have an empathic awareness of where they are in their lives and intuitively know how to help facilitate their healing, change and growth.
I work with clients with many varying issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression, work-related problems, relationship difficulties, life crises, amongst many others.

Thank you Aileen for your support and caring approach
Aileen has helped me to address areas of my life where I've struggled - panic anxiety at work and relationship issues with my partner. With her support I've learnt how my past has influenced the decisions I've been making and heavily sculpted the world in which I live in today. This insight plus Aileen's support has opened up new choices for me and equipped me to handle those situations which have previously pressed my buttons. This in turn has helped me to live a much healthier and authentic life ..... I have Aileen to thank for that

To Aileen, Many Thanks for your presence and help.
As a health care professional, I was unprepared for the devastation that years of stress would have upon my life. I was the only person i knew who didn't see my breakdown coming, until it happened... One day I lost it all , I broke down in a sudden, spectacular depression. I cannot thank Aileen enough for her gentleness and presence through such a dark place in my life; when it was hard to turn to anyone, when I lost hope and could see no future... But I did get back, and the journey continues ( and I won't say that there will never be bad times ahead) but with Aileen's help I have discovered new ways of relating to myself ( something I had never done in my life- I didn't know how! ) and I am more present in my relationships with my family and friends , in more genuine ways than I could ever have imagined, whilst at the same time, more accepting and forgiving of my own limitations (mostly). It is not easy work to be in therapy, but to anyone out there, who like me, has nothing left to lose, the gain is worth the pain... But I would not have come nearly so far, were if it not for her patience, and support at every stage that Aileen generously gave me . She was there every step of the way, holding, I was safe in her care. I cannot thank her enough for the strength she gave me and the courage she helped me find in myself... I did find my new feet , and they fit "real good! " and I thank Aileen for all of this and for so much more. Helen
