I offer Counselling for Couples and Individuals in Kilsyth and via telephone and video calls. I will work with you to help you make sense of difficult, confusing or unsatisfactory situations in life. My aim is to provide you with a comfortable and confidential space where you can explore and express your concerns, and for you to find ways that will help move you to a more satisfactory place.

There are many issues that bring people to counselling, such as:

Work stress
Addiction
Family issues
Bereavement
It could also be nothing specific but our confidence or self-esteem is affected in some way that leads us to feeling stuck. Whatever the reason for seeking support, I will work with you in a way that allows you to be at your own pace and to concentrate on what is important to you.

Choosing a therapist can be quite daunting, for this reason I offer a free telephone consultation that can be arranged at a time to suit you. This will allow both you and I to consider the benefits of working with each other. Or you can simply arrange an appointment through the email contact. I work in an ethical honest way with my clients so as to enable them to move to a more comfortable place in their lives.

I have over 18 years’ experience of working with individuals, couples and families. If you are interested in therapeutic models, I work as an integrative therapist utilising various models to suit particular dynamics that occurs in the counselling process. These models are indicated in my training and experience below.

Training, qualifications & experience
In addition to my private practice, I worked for a large private health care provider as a professional counsellor working with employees from around the globe and provided clinical support to therapists.. I have provided services for various charitable organisations, one being Scottish Marriage Care for eight years providing Relationship Counselling to couples and individuals. I have also been employed by support services to specific groups that include vulnerable children and adults, and contracted by Social Work Services for specific support services in specialised areas such as father and child relationships. I am also a fully qualified Yoga Teacher with training in Yoga Therapy and bodywork. As off 2021 I offer Supervision for established and trainee therapists, please get in touch for details.
