Sometimes life events can overwhelm us and we can feel stuck and unable to find a way forward. At other times we just need someone who will really listen to us and treat us with respect. At these times talking to a professional can be helpful. It takes great courage to ask for help.
The therapeutic relationship formed in Counselling is different from other relationships because it is all about you, the client. It is vital that a trusting relationship is built up which is supportive and non-judgmental. My hope in facilitating this process is to empower you and help you find resources within yourself to move towards an improved sense of self.
